TUITION
One of the biggest hurdles to 11 plus/grammar school entrance exam success is confidence. We have a pre-mock exam in April every year to assess how far each child is getting closer in their preparation for the exam. We have a final Mock exam in July. The final mock gives children the opportunity to find out how the exams will be structured and what to expect when they get to the exam room; that way it’s not so scary on the day! It’s also a great way to practice working under timed conditions.
We have a good quantity of relevant and helpful practice materials and resources for learning and practise at home and in our centre. We cover all four 11+ subjects (English, Maths, Verbal reasoning and Non-verbal reasoning) and provides consistent and continuous learning from those first steps at age 5-6 through to the exams themselves.
We give students unlimited access to all of our 11+ questions and resources which can be fun and in an engaging way of helping them to prepare for the 11+ exam.
We know how difficult 11plus and grammar school entrance exam preparation can be, with many parents unsure how to start preparing their children.
The 11plus and grammar school entrance exam is about testing your child’s natural aptitude and the importance of a well-rounded education cannot be over emphasised. Reading widely, building vocabulary and developing mathematical skills are all key ways of helping to prepare your child.

If your child is sitting a GL Assessment test, we use plenty of past and practice papers to familiarise your child with the question types in each subject.

If your child is sitting a CEM-examined test, we work hard on developing and building your child’s vocabulary. We have plenty of exam practice papers which are important for CEM even though the question types that appear in the real CEM 11+ exam are much more unpredictable.

We help your child with time management skills for both exams through plenty of timed practice papers to get them accustomed to managing their time effectively.
